Catching Up

I definitely didn't mean to have such a long blog hiatus.  But nonetheless, I'm back with a few things to share.

Last week I finally finished Natalie's commissioned t-shirt quilt.  I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out and she loves it!  Right now, I'm focusing on finishing a denim quilt for Em-o.

Next, I've got a couple tasty recipes that I've experimented with to share with you!

Cauliflower Pizza Crust
I was hesitant at first, because I don't typically like cauliflower.  I've always thought it smells like feet.  But this pizza crust was delightful and filling.

Coconut Curry Chicken w/brown rice
I found this recipe on one of my favorite blogs.  It was really good and made me want to experiment with more Indian recipes.

Easy Fried Pickles w/horseradish sauce
I made these for a Superbowl party.  They were FANTASTIC!  The only thing that was an issue is they didn't travel well.  Once put into a container, the heat and moisture from the pickles made them soggy.  Sad day.  But I was able to crisp them in the oven a bit, and they still TASTED amazing, even if they weren't crispy.

Finally, a couple blogs I've recently fallen in love with.  If you have some time, check them out!
