Taking Stock Part II

I did a post like this several months ago.  And thought it would be fun to do it again and see how different things can become in just a few months. 

Taking Stock:
Making : too many banana muffins
Cooking : nothing tonight! After 23 days of having to cook Whole30 friendly-meals every day... a break for dinner with the Bischoff's is going to be more than wonderful.
Drinking : lots of water
Reading:  Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail  by Cheryl Strayed
Wanting: additional pairs of Smartwool socks.  They're amazing!
Looking: forward to my first bowl of PB and Banana oatmeal when Whole30 is over.
Playing: Iron & Wine
Wasting: water when kitty girl insists on drinking out of the faucet every morning while I brush my teeth.
Sewing: a t-shirt quilt for Natalie.
Wishing: for the weather to warm up sooooooon.
Enjoying: my new  PT job teaching swim lessons.  Can't believe they pay me for it.
Waiting: for Friday to hurry up and get here.
Liking: how often people mistake me for being younger than I am. 
Wondering: what it will be like to see high school classmates after ten years this October.
Loving: Whole30.  It was the BEST way to start 2014. Though I'm thankful it's almost over.
Hoping:  I can maintain my new relationship with food and continue to feel great and full of energy once this month is over.
Marveling: at how much my Jesus really loves me.
Needing:  sunshine
Smelling: the St. Ives lotion that I've caked on my hands.
Wearing: my Mr. Rogers sweater and my new Smartwools. 
Following: in my dad's footsteps by being so in love with swimming.
Noticing: the havoc all the chlorine is doing to my hair.  Need a trim... again.
Thinking: about my dad and praying he comes through his experience with skin cancer with no complications.
Bookmarking: healthy/tasty meals to make once Whole30 is over.
Opening: up to the idea of finding a new place to live in June... yes again.
Giggling: at the funny paper cat sculpture Amanda found at the office on Monday.
Feeling: grateful that God is in control at all times.

Whole30 Day 21: eggs, banana, banana muffin, apple w/almond butter, cilantro lime chicken leftover, avo, mixed nuts, 2 cuties, Blueberry Muffin Larabar, Italian turkey sausage, 1/2 sweet potato
Whole30 Day 22: eggs, banana, banana muffin, apple w/almond butter, Italian sausage turkey sausage, 1/2 sweet potato, cutie, Blueberry Muffin Larabar, turkey burger, baked carrot fries
Whole30 Day 23: eggs, banana, banana muffin, roasted chicken, veggies, orange, Blueberry Muffin Larabar, chicken tenders, asparagus, baked carrot fries

Overview: Say it with me.  Seven. More. Days.  I'm in the home stretch and still feeling good.  Trying to fight anxiety about what I'll re-incorporate come next Friday.  But I will say it was ridiculous having to walk right by the tandoori chicken, naan, and samosas today in the cafeteria.  Of course I have to buy lunch today of all days with glorious Indian yummyness invading my senses as I walk by with my boring roasted chicken and carrots.  I think I can, I think I can!  Needless to say, this week I slayed several food dragons.  It's definitely been a challenge keeping my food choices interesting.  And, I think once this is over... I will not TOUCH an egg for at least 3 months.
