Pullover to Cardigan

Happy Sunday homies!  Here's a little project I worked on today.  I found the tutorial here.
I found this pullover at Mission Mart a couple months ago.  It's a little worn, but it's definitely a cozy at-home only kind of sweater.
I started by cutting the sweater up the middle and pinning a strip of fabric to either side.  I then sewed along the edge of each strip.
I found a cute wood button in my button jar and used an old hair tie for the button loop.  I simply tied the hair tie in a knot and stuck it between one of the strips of fabric and the sweater.  So, once I sewed that strip onto the sweater, it also secures the button loop. (If that doesn't make sense, go ahead and click on the tutorial link above.  She has a good picture of what I'm talking about.)

I think it turned out ok.  Now just give me some good snowfall and a Christmas movie.
