DIY Yarn Wreath

I made a wreath this afternoon! I originally had this wreath on my door:
Not super cute.

It was also just worn out after years of use.  The little foam berries started to fall off and I really just wanted to replace it.

I found this idea on Hello Hue!  She had linked a tutorial here.
Here are the materials needed.
*Straw wreath (keep plastic on)
*Yarn
*Felt
Believe it or not, the straw wreath was cheaper than a foam wreath.  And I heard this one is easier to wrap than a foam wreath.
Wrap the warn around the wreath.
Keep on wrappin'!  (Put in a movie!)
 All done!
Start by cutting out wavy round shapes like this of different sizes.
Cut the roundish shape into a long curvy strip.  Then wrap to make a rosette.
I used hot glue to hold the roses together.  I then used sewing pins to pin them to the wreath so that I could take them off and replace them with spring colors later on.
 All done!  I love it!
