A Non-Recipe Recipe

So I've been horrible about blogging lately.  Things have been super crazy with all the adjustments.  It's not going to get any better this month with my trip to Carbondale NEXT WEEK!  But by July I should hopefully have more time for posting recipes and projects.  Here's a delicious recipe I made up myself!

If you are a work-out-in-the-morning type of person, this protein shake is a great refuel/breakfast option.  I seriously drink this after my run or after kickboxing (yes, I'm learning kickboxing) and I'm usually not hungry for at least 3-4 hours.  It's super quick, it's a great option for people who don't really like to eat breakfast (which is really BAD!!)  Yes I'm talking to you momma!  It's also super tasty, and it cools you off after working hard!

*5-7 large frozen strawberries
*1 frozen banana
*hand full of torn spinach (yes, it sounds gross but you can't taste it and it gives you a serving of veggies!)
*1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (I have started buying Designer Whey.  It's a little more expensive but lasts me a little over a month making a shake every weekday morning)
*a large spoonful of greek yogurt (I normally use plain, but I was out this morning.  So I used yoplait yogurt cup and just scooped the yogurt off the top without the blueberry goodness on the bottom)  You could leave the yogurt out and it's just as yummy.
*almond milk (about 1/2-1 cup or enough to get your blender moving)

Combine and Blend!
