Live, Walk, Free

These are the most recent set of pillows I did for a friend. I use a fantastic product called Steam-a-Seam for pillows! It comes in sheets and is basically used to support embroidery and stitching.  It allows you to temporarily attach pieces so that you can move them around until you find an arrangement you like. Then you use the iron to attach the pieces.  This doesn't hold them on permanently and sewing/stitching the pieces on keeps them in place for good.  It's really helpful for small pieces like the letters I used on these pillows and the Hope pillow from an earlier post.  I'll be posting more techniques and walk-throughs as I do more projects.  I'm posting all my past work for now just to get them up for people to see. Happy crafting!

  1. These are great, Haley! Would you mind commenting a bit more on the actualy creative process? It would be cool if you could provide a tutorial of sorts, though I realize that would take a lot more time. Just a suggestion... :)
